Spates Accounting and Bookkeeping Services, LLC was established in 2018 by Kimberley Spates. Spates Accounting and Bookkeeping Services was created to provide efficient, expert solutions to businesses and individuals. Our primary services include accounting, tax preparation, and business advisory. As the firm grows, we have implemented other services including research, business formation and compliance services.

Kimberley Spates
President & CEO

Kimberley Spates has 22 years of progressive accounting experience and holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Cleveland State University, in Cleveland, Ohio. She is the President & CEO of Spates Accounting Services. Prior to owning her own business, she held various positions at several non-profit organization in Cleveland, Ohio. Her last position was the Controller at The Centers for Families and Children.
Kortni Spates
Accounting Manager
Shareholder
Kortni earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from Cleveland State University with a focus in accounting and finance. She obtained her CPA license in the state of Ohio in November of 2020 . She has experience in both corporate and public accounting allowing her deeper understanding of the accounting field. She joined Spates Accounting Services in October of 2023 and is now apart of the management team.
Toni Bringht
Accounting Specialist II

Toni is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. Servicing the community has been her career focus with a concentration in the financial sector for more than 25 years. In October of 2021 she decided to shift the focus from Corporate America to the small business and joined Spates Accounting Services.
Qiana Spates
Accounting Specialist I
Qiana is a graduate of David Myers aka Chancellor University with a degree in Accounting and Business Administration. She has 28 years of accounting experience, specializing in the manufacturing and legal industries. She joined Spates Accounting Services team in June of 2022 to focus on accounting/financial practices with a growing family-owned business.
Alex Moncrief
Accounting Intern
Alex is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting at Cleveland State University. She has been interning at Spates Accounting Services since June of 2024, where she is eager to deepen her understanding of the accounting profression. Alex is dedicated to exploring her future career path, expanding her knowledge, and contributing to the field.
